Smoothies & Juice Blends: A healthy meal option

Sometimes we are pressed for time and tend to revert to processed foods that are convenient and readily available. Why not start your day with a nice protein smoothie? This is quick and easy to prepare and if you put a nice mix of vegetables and fruits, water or milk, protein powder, and honey to taste - you will have a beverage loaded with your daily fruits & vegetables recommendation.
Be extra careful not to add too much high-sugar fruits (i.e., bananas - 1/2 banana will suffice). Enjoy!
Strawberry-Banana-Mango Tango Shake
5 strawberries
1/2 banana
1/2 kiwi
1/2 mango
1 cup orange juice (unconcentrated)
1 tbsp protein powder of your choice
